Mise-o-Jeu, a subsidiary of Loto-Québec that focuses on sports betting, has become Northern Arena’s newest sponsor. They will be making arrangements to incorporate esports, specifically CS:GO and Dota 2, into their sports betting service. This will give esports fans across the province of Quebec the opportunity to bet real money on professional matches of these two aforementioned esports titles.
They plan to roll out their esports betting service to their online platform as well as their mobile app on Apple and Android devices. In order to use their betting service you must be of legal age (18+) and you must be within the province of Quebec. The application will only work with location services enabled. Loto-Québec plans to incorporate esports into their selection slips that will be available for purchase at all Loto-Québec retailers.
Northern Arena is happy to have Mise-o-jeu as its newest sponsor and hopes that it will continue to promote the growth of Quebec esports scene by increasing fan interest and engagement. Eligible users will be able to start betting on the CS:GO and Dota 2 games that will be taking place starting Thursday, November 10 through to the Finals at the Bell Centre on November 13th.
